Right after we were pronounced husband and wife, and the officiant said, “You may now kiss the bride,” my groom did not kiss me. Instead, he whispered, “I wanna sing.”
“What?” I said.
(Thinking… He just said you can kiss me… Kiss me!)
“,红姐免费统一图库;I wanna sing.”
There’s really no way to explain what happened next; you have to see it for yourself!
Groom Serenade from Mrs. Brooch on Vimeo.
If you couldn’t tell, I sang along. It just so happens, One Day at a Time is my favorite gospel hymn. I’ve been singing it since high school… My mom thought Mr. Brooch must have known that, but amazingly, he didn’t ????
Best two minutes of my life…
Best. groom. ever.
Did your ceremony have any surprises?
Miss a recap? Dig in:We took pictures, rehearsed, and gave out presents. We ate Snickers cake and there was a special reunion. Wedding morning was finally upon us. The bridesmaids dressed in fancy robes. I get a makeover. My mom and me have some time. Meanwhile, the groomsmen hangout and take some pictures. My bridal suite and special things await me. I get a sweet surprise: chivari chairs! I slip into my gown and become a bride! I put on special jewelry,Baby fat, and think of someone special. We did a first look and had a special time of bride and groom love. I put on the final touches – my veil and bouquet and the ceremony started. I have my moment walking down the aisle. Our ceremony message is: Hold Onto God, Each Other & Love.
*Mr. Brooch’s cousin took this footage. We couldn’t afford videography, but her slow and steady hand captured this, probably the best part of the entire day, and I am forever indebted.
*Also, thank you Mrs. Hermit Crab for telling me how to use Vimeo!
